pests Help ID this garden pest

Something decided to colonize one of my Jimmy Nardellos. I have no clue what this gross thing or things is. 4 pics below, any help with ID appreciated

I believe DarkTrak was talking about pepper maggots, which are white-yellow. These are brown/black.

thats a caterpillar and the green stuff is their waste i had same problem they get into the pod while its small and eat it from inside out

Sorry mega, that sure sucks, mate! Hope you get it sorted! I'm just praying hard that it's not gonna be on my list of "things that can go wrong" this season.

Incidentally, I am growing Jimmy's too....
