I have soon discovered that my cayenne plants have yellow spots on them. Any idea what this means and how I can fix it? Thank you!

You could try a green permanent marker to cover the yellow spots, just make sure it's not water based or it will come off when it rains. 
Seriously though, as Juanitos said, posting pics will help with a accurate diagnosis.
