How about a friendly competition! I haven't thought about exactly what, but it would involve growing ripe tomatoes by January 1, 2010. I have some seedlings that have been up for about two weeks, some others that just germinated last night/this morning. Biggest tomato? Most tomatoes per plant? Most pounds per plant.
I hope to transplant some tomatoes by October 1, but the larger ones won't be ready until close to the end of October.

If you would like to play and have any ideas, please post them. I'm open to just about anything except # tomatoes as I have some Riesentraube that have dozens of maters but they weigh maybe 1.5 ounces each at the most!
