Hi all from Australia

Just curious but, is g'day actually a popular thing Australians say or is it just fun to fuck with foreigners by playing into the Crocodile Dundee stereotype?

If I was Australian and I took a trip to America, I know I'd do that shit. Lol

Gday Friend

Yes we say Gday all the time. Very common greeting. Even gday mate.

But we do like playing with foreigners heads as well.

Planted Sugar Rush peach seeds this morning. It still is close to zero at night but should warm up in a month or so.

Welcome from Australia  Welcome to THP mate, you're amongst a great bunch of people here which I'm sure you'll soon find out for yourself.  :welcome:

G'day Max!
I decided to check THP during a slow 5 minutes at work and see another Aussie has joined, WELCOME!
And you're from Taree! I grew up in Forster, not far away at all

"G'day" is actually a thing we say, not a thing that is put on for the foreign devils.

It is so ingrained in the Aussie vernacular that it is spoken without even thinking of it, and not realized unless a foreigner brings it up.

PS. Welcome Max
