I grow a few more hot peppers in my Maine garden every year! It's not easy due to the short season. I have set up and new and tiny greenhouse in my basement for the purpose of making my own transplants. I built my own light panels, which incorporate small computer fans for keeping them from getting damp, and strengthening their stalks. I am not really growing pods indoor, although I may as an experiment. I am using only red and blue led lighting. I enjoy learning and appreciate anything constructive.
 
Hi John, and welcome from western Massachusetts. I hear ya 'bout having a short season, but still manage to bring in a decent crop of Chinense peppers, Baccatums and Annuums. This year I'm trying my hand at Frutascens and wilds too. Good luck with 2014!
