Hi from the Niagara region in Canada

Hi all,
My wife and I live in the Niagara Region, in Ontario, Canada. We've been canning/pickling stuff for years, and I make wine from our backyard muscat grapes (got 90 Liters this year), also get grapes from the area and make a few others. I usually make about 100-150L per year, but this year will be over 200 L. I also have started doing all-grain beer brewing.

I started making hot sauce a few years ago.
This year planted:
-Carolina Reaper
-Apocalypse Scorpion
-Coppenhagen Ghost
-Yellow Devils Tongue
-Scotch Bonnet
-Habanero
-Thai
-Jalapeno
-Banana

So far this year I've made:
-Sweet Peach
-Smokey peach (smoked all the peppers)
-Ghost-Cat (make this every year, primarily ghost peppers and our muscat wine, hence the name)
-InfernoStructure (I lead out IT Infrastructure team at work, make a batch to give out to everyone)

Anyway, I look forward to sharing on this site, and learning from others.

Hey greenEnvy! Besides the gorgeous pix above I noticed your post in TB's topic:

I just started some of my seeds on the weekend, nothing sprouted yet.  The rest I will get started this coming weekend.
This year I'm growing:
Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Satan Strain
7-Pot Brain Strain X Carolina Reaper
7-Pot Atlantic Yellow
Ghost Pepper Orange
Chocolate Long Pepper Seeds
Brazilian Reaper
Apocalypse Scorpion
Habenero
Jalaneno
Banana
Poblano

Plus I have overwintered two hot pepper plants from Paraguay, in my garage with a heater and grow light. So far they still look decent. Keeping them around 10 celcius, watering every couple of weeks.
I'm in the Niagara region in Canada, near Buffalo. Last year my reapers and scorpions all did great, I still have bags of dehydrated peppers, and make several dozen jars of hot sauce. Most have been gifted away already, down to less than a dozen left.
Would love to see your own thread in Glogs, especially your over winter prowess!

And a quick note on that "sideways pic:

It is the stored EXIF Data that causes this.

Even if you don't have an iPhone (And this article talks about email orientation.), this is helpful, Why iPhone pictures flip when emailed, and how to fix it

Our intrepid leader posted this helpful hint.

If you edit the pic before uploading it will upload correctly. Editing it "saves" the orientation instead of using native, which would be the way you held the phone. Really it is uploading correctly, but other sites like FB have better software that read the orientation EXIF.
