Hello, buy protective gloves by the box and throw out after each use. I tend to use only one glove, that being on my holding hand because I like the feel of a knife handle in my bare hand. You have to be very cognizant about keeping your hands away from your face as well while cutting. Best done outside as well if possible.
If you’re cutting up reapers, double up on the gloves. I even had capsaicin start to effect my fingertips through 2 layers of gloves when cutting up a big pile of them.
