HOME FROM BOWERS CHILE PEPPER FEST

OK SO i ment a couple of people off here today but the highlight of my trip was meeting ajijoe. He is such a nice guy. i was hanging out with him for quite a while there he showed me where all the good peppers were and where to find them and then he told me to come to his stand and he hands me a big bag of pepper which included bhuts, fatallis, peach bhuts 7pot congos and mayan cobanero love peppers.... i also bought some of his world famous Rhino Ripper sauce... He also introduced me to the owner of meadowviews farm's son and guess what he developed a jolokia scorpion which you guessed it is a bhut crossed with a scorpion... and guess what i was lucky enough to get one and now im going to grow it next year.... Joe also gave me two purple plants i dont know their names off hand and do not have any pictures because it is pouring and they are outside..... i also met Defcon, redhawkpeppers, and lot of other chile heads.... here is some pics from today oh and i also started a hot sauce collection

Aji Joe is a first class guy and hearing your obvious excitement is what it is all about! Congrats.

Crap, I did not even realize that was aji joe. I got some rhino roller too!!!!!! I sampled it and it was the hottest sauce I sampled that day. You can really taste the superhots in it. More so than some other sauces. I saw a guy at about noon leaving going back to the festival with a big pink mohawk, I guess that was you, tyler? Not that there was tons of guys there sporting that hairdo.......

yep that was me i left from the feild back to the fest around noon and left to go home around 230 ish so yeah it was me and yeah ajijoe was there with his wife selling his sauce and powders

tylerd, thanks for sharing the pics and stories. Glad you had a good time at the fest and maybe next year you can skip a day of school to go on Friday. I'm not usually one to advocate missing school for any reason, but sometimes... fanning the flames of a young person's passion is worth a day away from school.

Enjoy your treasures!
