Home Made / Grown Energy Drinks ???

I am all the time getting home remedy advice.  Believe it or not, local honey and garlic on wounds does seem to speed healing.  Most of the others, well I tend to smile and nod at the person telling me how wonderful x, y, and z are.  The thing I never hear is home remedies for lack of energy, well other than coffee.

Most of the people I know that garden must be high energy cause all I ever hear from them are relaxing teas.  Chamomile, Valerian root, so on.

Does anyone make their own natural energy supplements?  I think ephedrine is illegal now, so that is right out.  Sucked anyway.  Gave me the shakes.  Maybe teas with lots of B (is it 12?)

bee pollen

i take a pinch like a tobacco user does....

gives a boost of energy, good for hay fever too

Yerba mate puts the pep in yer step, for sure!

All the Yoga Moms I know make turmeric milk.  Everything i read about it says it's mostly to reduce inflammation, but some of'm swear it gives'm a kick in the seat, too.  One of these days, I'm going to try it. . .

Ill pound an energy drink first thing in the morning for mental clarity but what does it for me for energy is about sixteen ounces of cold coffee with a fat scoop of protein. I make the coffee the day before. 6 tablespoons for six cups.

Ginseng takes something like five years.  Will look into guarana and is it yerba mate?
Yes it's yerba mate. I know it from the german drink club-mate, the only energy drink I can drink because it doesn't taste so horrible like red bull or monster energy.
