Univ. of Fla. has taken on adapting hops to the climate here in Florida, and hopefully after a few years, they'll have solid rec's and I'll be able to pull it off ...
 
Thanks!  It is a lot of work harvesting but it is worth it in the end.  If you add up all the money spent on hops for your beer all year, it is a lot.  The BD beer I did was the first batch of beer I have done in over a year where I had to actually purchase hops because I had already run out of my own Centennial.  I have probably done 7 or 8 batches of beer in the past year.  The trellis shown is 1 and a half dog kennel fencing.  One is in stationary in the ground and the top is one cut in half with rods going into the ends to hold it up and to easily remove it for harvesting.
