Hop's Grow 2021 - New here so back tracking on progress

Hey Everyone, welcome to my 2021 Glog  :onfire:

I am late to the party but I will do my best to update with the progress I have. Quick backstory, this is my second season and first season in the ground. I moved to a new place at the end of January so I am a bit late to the party and got my seeds started on March 10th (the majority of them at least). I grew about 80 plants last year but they were in beds and buckets. This year I will be sharing with you roughly 600 peppers, 70 ish tomatoes, and other stuff along the way (We have planted tons of stuff so I will update all sorts of stuff but focus will be mainly on peppers). If you are interested in more of what I am growing then please let me know and I will share more of the rest.

I will keep this short so I can get the photos posted but I have ran drip tape to everything in my field this year so everything is on drip irrigation. I will be using Fish Hydrolysate as my main source of nutrients and tapping into the tea area for other benefits along the way. I know enough to be dangerous but I have so much to learn and I look forward to learning from all of you along the way. I will also share my grow list so you can review that if you are interested. The star of the show this year will be Yellow T Rex at 32 Yellows and 8 Mustards.

Enjoy the grow pepper heads!!

Trying to put these in chronological order for you all. I started seeds on March 10th and never transplanted fyi. I used the 36 count deep cell trays and fed them 1/2 strength Fox Farm until they were hardened off.

A few pictures of what I started with along with some plowing, discing, and rowing of the field (first time on a tractor too, just bought this beast "International 384")

I had cleared this a little bit but this was the beginning of the plot in March 2021.

Okay, Hop, pretty impressive. I see you are the
kind that likes jump in with both feet!  Will be fun
watching your mega-grow develop this season,
good luck!

What are your plans for your production?

Thank you PaulG! This hobby definitely escalated fast for me but to be fair I went from 1 acre in a neighborhood to 13 acres in the county. I thought I was going to have around 400 which was already huge but that number just grew bigger (I collected too many seeds last season from all over). The goal this year is to cut down on varieties that didn't produce/taste well.

As far as production goes...
Are you asking how I am going to harvest them and/or my plan for harvesting or are you referring to how I am going to use them? Or something else possibly?

I was out of town for about 4 days so I haven't been able to check on my plants much. It has been raining everyday which sucks but the plants seem to be doing okay. Here is an update on a few varieties.

Also, I had a few get topped by some deer or Rabbits, time to put up an electric fence to guard my pepper farm.

These were topped by some wildlife. I am saddened since they were some great looking plants but they will bounce back. I definitely have to get a fence up around the garden area.
