How HOT do you start your day?

Friends,

I am a pepper junkie. I need to start my day starting with my kick start breakfast.

For over two years, I have rarely varied the routine.
I have a sandwich of two toasts one spread with my Naga Chutney pickle and the other side with my home made hot Salsa. Sandwiched between the two will be an American cheese sheet.:hell:

Only after the Endorphines and capsaicin starts pumping into my body, I think constructively......LOL:P

Why American cheese? I'd think you'd pick a better cheese for your nice hot breakfast!

If I'm up for breakfast, it will be spicy. I think there's a poll here somewhere asking if people eat every single meal spicy, or just some meals, and most spice every meal up.

For breakfast I like pepper jam on French toast, hot sauce on eggs, jalapenos in a scramble or wrap, a tomato-based hot sauce in my home fries... the possibilites are endless. I just spice it up in some way.

THP You gott ashow pics of that breakfast you posted like a month ago some sort of bread i forget what it was but sounded real good.

Damn NJA just another form of wheaties! Naga Chutney Pickle sounds very intriguing!

Naga Chutney pickle unlike what you understand by the word CHUTNEY is not at all sweet. Chutney in Hindi means rough paste .
It does not use sweetness at all.

Banana pancakes with serrano pepper jam and maple syrup, right now.

Will do Nate.

i don't normally have breakfast, but my first eat of the day if i'm at home normally has a good sprinkling of powder/flakes in or on it (i never eat cereals)
If i'm at work whatever i have will have some of whatever hot sauce i've taken that day on it!

Well...I just finished up some lovely 'Atomic' homefries, 3 eggs over easy and 2 pieces of toast. I made the 'Atomic' Homefries atomic by adding Nag's MACH II sauce to them as they were cooking, along with splashing them while on the plate. Now that was a good way to say GOOD MORNING!

Pretty Hot usually.. Now that I'm at home every morning....I make a 2 egg omlet (with cheddar cheese, scotch bonnet, onion, green peppers and a lil bit of fried potatoes) and I shread 2 potatoes and fry them in butter with onion, salt, pepper, and habanero Powder.

Dyce 51,

I loved your combination. Next time, try sprinkling any Indian chilli pepper powder and see the difference.

Maya overseas? What sort of chilli powder they sell? No....you must not go by any powder. There are specific powders available. Like Sannam, Jwala, Reshampatti, Bydgi etc. You should try Sannam .

Nothing evil about it, most here can take the naga no problem. Naga powder rocks.

Ex-Hot%20Chilli%20Powder%20200%20g.jpg
no ingredients are listed Just says "Chili Powder Extra Hot"....and No it does not taste like normal chili powder that you would find in the local grocers....I haven't quite figured out what pepper is in it but it's got some heat to it....

I have a faint feeling that this is a mix of Bydgi and Sannam from the color of it. It is hot but not as I would call as Hot.
Only Sannam (GUNTUR) or PUSA JWALA is definately very pungent and also extra Hot.

I am planning to go to the grocers this week end to replenish my Guntur and get Bydgi if they have new stock.

some of you sure like to pack the heat for a morning wake up call :mouthonfire: I like to ease my way into the morning with mild/medium heat on whatever I eat for breakfast.
