How often does this happen? (twins)

I was checking my habanero today thought this looked pretty cool.  Should I snip them off if they both start forming pods or can they make it?

i've had it maybe 4 times. every time a different pepper. save the seeds. who knows maybe you'll get more. that's the idea.

Oh nice! Cayenne?

It seems like it would be hard for relatively bulky peppers like the habaneros, but I noticed the stem is twice as thick as the nearby ones.

I have a tomato plant that is doing this too :)
Awesome, I just did a google image search and all of the tomatoes twins I saw were actually fused together at the tomato skin as well.

The datils above look separate... I wonder if two peppers can grow together the same way as tomatoes?

I have some cucumber twins:

That plant had more weird pods than regular ones.
I thought the 3 podded one needs a jack in the box head on it.
I never grew Cubanelle again so I don't know if it was a screwed up plant or if it's a thing Cubanelles do.

Stabilize that and you could trademark it as the Jester Pepper (and then nobody could sell it after they bought your seed   HA HA HA)
