Howdy from Iowa

Howdy all,
Long time reader, first time account-maker/poster. My wife and I have been gardening for a few years, increasing in seriousness each year. This year we bought our first home, with a half acre of yard to utilize. Through our endeavors, we have created quite a space, and last season grew seven different pepper varieties, in addition to everything else. We actually started a small business, providing some extra produce to a local food co-operative here in Iowa. I'm currently growing 10 Super Sweet cherry tomato plants, 3 Trinidad Moruga Scorpions, 2 Tombstone Ghost Chili, and 2 Carolina Reaper plants in an indoor arrangement. I joined this forum because I am a chili-head apparently, and want to become better at growing, but also to broaden my experiences with regards to using peppers in cooking, preparing pepper products, and varieties of pepper. Besides gardening and hot-stuff, I am a college chemistry professor with a love for tinkering with nearly all things mechanical and electrical.
