Hydro grow, Transfer to pots or let em grow?

These were put in Hydro 6-25-16 so I think they are doing pretty good. They are about 8 in tall.  My question is should I pot these up in 10 gallon pots to continue growing and put new seedlings in the Hydro or should I leave them in hydro?  Also if I do pot some up should I leave the net basket on the root bundle to not damage roots?  Most are Pepper Lover super hots with a couple mild variety's.
 
If you are in South Florida, you have plenty of time left to transfer them to an outside grow. Your best growing months are just ahead...
 
Thanks, Solid yeah It has rained so much I have had to put pepper plants from the garden into pots on the patio. They were sitting in 6 in of standing water for days at a time and dying.  May keep the hydro plants inside for another month or so
 
We have barely had rain up here for 2 months. Just started again this week.

But yeah, get those plants out, and start the next generation, if that's your plan. Have that batch out again by November.
 
Actually, they will grow faster and produce more and better fruit if you leave them in hydro.

Better? If you're talking about having homogenous size, shape, and bland flavor, then yes. But if you're a backyard grower, that's not a substantiated statement.

In fact, unless you are willing to upgrade, and invest in MORE hydro equipment, you'll crank out far more crops by STARTING in hydro, and finishing in outdoor containers.

To stay hydro, and win all the way around, an outside organic drain-to-waste in coco coir would be a good strategy. But it's a shame to stick to indoor hydro in South Florida, and not take advantage of 3 (possibly 3+) full growing seasons.
 
Well I have transferred a few of the larger ones to pots and will see how they do. Any advice on the net baskets? cut them off or bury them with the plant to not cause root damage?
