I actually do grow some peppers!

But I'm not a big fan of posting harvest pics! Yet, since the season is coming to an end here in OH, and I picked some peppers, I figured I might as well embarrass myself and show some of my harvest. Still, I'm way more into potatoes, tomatoes and beans than peppers!

A few paprikas:

Some cayennes and maybe a banana pepper to two:

These are, from what I have been told, Scotch Bonnet Caribbean Red Habs:

And the obligatory Bhuts:

BTW,

The paprika peppers are hotter than hell. Not just according to me, but to my son who has tasted the jolokia pepppers. They are not suppose to be hot, coming in way below Hungarian Hot Wax,, Jalapenos, etc. I read where it use to be a hot pepper, but over the years has been bred to be very mild. These were heirloom seeds from Baker Creek and I'm wondering if that makes a difference.
