I am a novice gardener with a penchant for chillies and sauces that i make from my own spray free crops.

I don't know if I am lucky or if it is normal bit most of my chilli plants are very prolific. I have a yellow long one and A red bell one. I have anywhere from three to six of each type and about to grow more from heritage seeds I have harvested from friends. Hoping to be able to share my journey of discovery and growth and maybe identify the chillies I am growing. I'm not a purist myself but the interest in my sauces makes me wonder if I should have more idea of what goes into the sauce other than long fat yellow ones...
