Now its getting bad!! I cant stop planting :lol: took these casino coin buckets and converted them into planters when will it end??:lol: dont know why I labeled the worlds hottest and worlds 2nd hottest to the jolokia and naga maybe to scare my g/f a bit??!! :lol:set them up in another part of my room somewhere warm whats next 50 buckets in my room?? lol opps forgot to give a shout out and thanks to podpiper for getting started!!

If it makes you feel better, I think I started too many plants for the space I have in my yard. My wife yelled at me today because I shared with her another idea as to where to plant some more. She doesn't want to lose the whole yard, but I think she already has...Plus, I have started a list of what I want to plant next year and there is still snow in my yard.

I have a yard problem too although its a bit different g/f and I are puppy shopping so I cant have tons o chile's in the yard
hot chile's and a puppy not a good idea :lol:
 
I hear ya, I don't have any puppies, but I have a 2 year old. They are about the same...LOL...Really, she is pretty good about my plants (so far) she likes to sit with me and watch them. She is a chilihead in the making. :lol:
 
well i sure hope my future pup is NOT a chilehead :lol:
If i toss a grouse wing or pheasant tail and he comes back with a chile instead i will not know how to or if any dicipline(spell check) is needed :lol:
 
"AH... Bach" (Just a quick quote from a tv show)...LOL A bird dog. I use to like grouse and pheasant hunting. Been about 6 years since I've gone though. Have fun training...

I think I need more sleep.
 
Don't even bother to fight it! It's futile! A lack of space comes with the hobby! I am glad I can use my pal's garden. I don't think he has any idea what he's in for! Gladly, he likes hot food, so he'll see his reward growing before his very eyes. I told him he doesn't have to care about them too much, I'll look after them every day!

At least one of your plants should grow to unknown heights in the luxury environment of a Hilton plastic cup! :P

I've found the male puppies are more troublesome with the plants.

Alright! I was wondering if anyone would know what show I was referring too? It was also/is my father's favorite show.
 
It's nice to see another person put casino token cups to good use. :) I do that too. I use Greektown Casino ones back when they made them. Those darn ticket slips ruined everything for us chileheads. Where in SE MI are you from? I too am from this area.

All the German Short hairs I have been around are extremely "exciteable" and very high strung. Not saying they are bad dogs by any means, just high maintenence dogs.

I would say more high energy than high strung. Get 'em the exercise they need and they calm right down. They cane run for miles and miles.

Well with the Labs settling down that's what I've been told by other owners, if it's true he's got about 6 months to go and I can't see any signs of him calming down in the near future. It's nice to have a dog so full of character though, apart from when it comes to your plants.

Hmm, Matilda started settling around 4 or 5, but she's part Aussie. Her personalty is more lab-ish, though. I know what you mean about the character, too, she's the funniest dog!

Aussie's are a handful, but they were bred to be on the go all day. Not many people are set up to give them the exercise they need. When I was doing more with Aussie rescue I spent a fair amount of time convincing people that they really didn't want an Aussie, no matter how cool they looked on TV catching that Frisbee.
