I get told this all the time. (never seen the show though)

I usually have a good laugh when Japanese people say i look like him and i reply 'oh, i guess we all look the same to you, huh?!'

Nice review again   The show is pretty good if you get bored and can catch it on Netflix or something.  I wouldn't buy it but it is worth a watch.

I grew Takanotsume for the first time this year, and I'd say your description of its flavor was spot on.
It never occurred  to me to try it on a sandwich. I'll have to give it a try.

Netflix was how I saw it. I was not too interested, but the people I stay with watched it, so I watched it.

I've grown the Takanotsume for the past four or five years [SIZE=12pt]primarily [/SIZE]as an ornamental, it's a great looking plant. The last few years I've dried the pods and flaked them for general semi-hot addition to recipes.
