identify this chili for me please.

its a mystery chili that was labeled the "chili" which lead me to ask... "ok i know its a chili but what kind of chili is it?" I know its not a Jalapeno since i am also growing pino's and this plant is much lighter than the pino's so here is a picture of the plant and pod.

i have worked out that it is a capsicum annuumn or however its spelled. but not the exact name.

cool so that would mean that they might be hotter than the average annuunm?

Could be, depends on which parents genes was more dominant, but heat tends to come out above.

If I had to guess I would say a cayenne or tobasco of some type crossed with a habanero or some other large blunt pod in the chinense family.

But thats a total guess, I could be way off.

would the pods being ripe help identify them? if so i guess when they ripen i will post pics. but untill then this is the best shot i have of it.

It's definately a Jal/Fresno/Hung. Hot Wax crossed with something else so It really won't be identified to easy....

It's ripened to a lighter red then the average Jal and has no crazzing like a ripe Jal

????????

What's it taste like? heat level?
