I've lurked here a bit. Made three hot sauces involving habanero, Laosian chili, and naga jolokia. The last two grown by my supervisor. He has tons of variety that he usually brings in around the end of the year for us to sample. I asked for some of the ghost/Laosian and he brought whole cuttings from his garden! My three sauces have been loved by everyone who has tried them.
Just started my own garden of 2x Havasu, 2x Serrano, and 2x Chili Reds last month from Home Depot. Today just saw some first peppers on the Havasu and Chilies. I saw some naga jolokia and some other shriveled, hot pepper variety at my local nursery that I might pick up for next season as well.
I'm having trouble with my next sauce so I figured I'd sign up and ask some questions that couldn't' be answered in the search.
