indoor Indoor Grow Setup

Okay guys. I'm new here and I thought I'd get your thoughts on my indoor growing setup.

First, about the setup. It was my grandfathers and was originally built for growing a certain plant, although I will not tell which, I will tell you it is illegal. I started fooling around with it and decided I want to grow, or atleast start growing, some nice peppers in here.

I'm going to post some pics tomorrow when I wake up. But i had one question. Are there any benifits growing indoors over outdoors? Non-benifits? What's the difference if i grow them in or outdoors?

Thanks all,
Skitch

The thing with those illegal plants, is that most of them don't need all the things that a chile plant does. so what kind of setup is it?

Now about the benefits.
A lot of people are growing indoors because they grow illegal plants, and they don't want people to see them.
Peppers you should grow indoors only if there's no choice (lack of room and so on) or if it's not the "best weather" (like if it's too cold, or not enough light).
When it comes to light, nothing can beat the good ol' sun.
Certain growing methods (such as 'Hydroponics') are more efficient, but it doesn't necessarily mean indoors.

I am going to try and grow peppers inside this year simply because I can control the environment they see and maybe, just maybe I can have fresh peppers year round. Just maybe.

BECAUSE the weather outside won't allow it.

you'll have a better result indoor if you have big light & cool tube or any blower system then outside but watch out for aphids or spyder mith ....what kind of lamp will you use ? hps Mh ??
