Inexpensive digital PH meter/TDS meter recommendations?

I have gone through three of them over more than a few years. The #1 reason they break on me is because I have dropped/submerged them. They work for years if the tip is kept in water and you calibrate them every few months or so, which is very easy to do.

That's what I've been using, so far it works great. I did splurge a little on the tds/ppm meter and bought a Blue Lab Truncheon. I like it because it's simple, waterproof, easy to use, reliable, doesn't need calibration, etc... And others had shared positive experience with it. So far I like it a lot.
