Guess this is a good spot for this post....one of my foremans at work is Greek...the family owns a small olive orchord in Kalamata....every year they ship over some beautiful first press olive oil in 22 litre tins ....this stuff is beautiful and has not been messed with at all...I make sure I am on the list each year...I share it with friends and family.
I dried some Ghost and Scorpion pods from the garden in the dehydrator alone with some rosemary...once dried to make sure all the water is removed....i put some into fancy bottles and fill with oil....store in a dark cool place for about 3 weeks.....it is now ready to drizzle on pasta,salads or whatever needs a little kick.....my friends kill for this oil.
