Instant collection

Sealed, I'd say easily 5 years on many varieties, but it does vary and a "safe" value is about 2-3 years. After it's opened, it depends on the acidity and whether it's refrigerated or not, but I'd say an average of 6 months.
 
Thanks for the replies. I would throw down on this collection if I thought they were all within a solid range of being useable. Might have to send the seller a note and find out...
 
I buy my share of wax-sealed collectible bottles that I never intend on opening, but bottles like these, yeah I want to eat it first.

Agreed!....although I tend to toss mine due to space limitations!;)

By the way....I've opened hot sauce bottles after 15 years and they were just fine.

...at least the little purple aliens that came to visit me later that night told me it was....
