is CGN 19198 C. eximium or not?

I'm going to try to use a eximium variety to crossbreed with a pubescens variety and use the resulting crossbreed as a crossbreeding bridge to get the pubescens genetics to a baccatum pepper since eximium can cross with baccatum and pubescens. 
 
The only problem is the only eximium variety i could buy is cgn 19198 and on fatalii's website it is mention that's its questionable that cgn19198 is eximium at all. so that's got me a lil worried

Just found out C. cardenasii would work as well but only sources seem very sketchy.

You need to check out the THP community.
There are a number of folk growing c. caredenasii
and c. eximium.
 
You are right, both should serve your purpose.
According to inferno chili, both are part of the
eximium complex.
