container-growing Is it possible to have to many peppers on a plant?

So I have 5 Jalapeno plants and they are all looking like the photo. Plenty of peppers although it seems like they have stopped growing. Do these plants have to many peppers? I dont think the peppers are getting bigger at this point. I want to say there are 3 varieties - Early Jalapeno, numex lemon spice and numex orange spice. Do they take their time? Thanks

@91300zx , sometimes plants tend to load up, and ripen the older fruit first. This makes it seem like some of the younger ones are stunted, but they're just on deck! As far as the question in the thread title, yes, a plant may load up on fruit so much that it risks breaking branches under the weight of the peppers unless it is supported somehow. If you find that plant that is extremely prolific, it's a good idea to give it some support in the form of stakes, cages, etc.

Im not seeing any issues with breakage and I do have them staked. Great news, I appreciate your response. Thank you
