disease-pests Is my plant having an identity issue?

I have a plant (seeds were sold as Naga Morich) which produces very different pods. More than half of them are as in the first picture, the rest as in the second.
 

 

 
What's going on, is it possible they cross pollinated?
 
Probably misidentified. Earlier and later pods in the season look more generic, like the first, and if the second picture was started later that would be what this plant's pods are supposed to look like.
