A gentleman gave me a chilli plant the other day (it hasn't flowered yet) and he said it was called a West Indian Naga. I couldn't see it on the chileman's database and wondered if anyone has heard of it or is there such a species. Thanks
lots of strange things grow in the West Indies... grow it out and see what you get. Could be a strain of seven or scorpion or just a congo pepper... no doubt it will be hot and good to cook with.
It was probably from a naga pod originating in west India, just as my Bangladesh naga is from a Bangladesh pod. These areas have had nagas for decades or even centuries so there is obviously going to be some different types
