pest Is This a Ladybug?

Something is eating little holes in my pepper plant leaves, this is the only bug that I’ve seen.

For my grow, those pinprick holes, if they don’t develop further, are always caused by being sprayed by bits of dirt and debris from the lawnmower. They’re like micrometeorites through a solar sail.

Fortunately, they’ve only been an aesthetic problem for me.
 
+1 on the flea beetle!
Little f###### have destroyed many of my cabbage and radish seedlings in the past in my vegetable garden.
Out here they tend to emerge in dry periods in spring and they really can damage the leaves till the seedlings just give up. It is easier to control them in pots than on open ground i guess... :flamethrower:
