disease-pests Is this a mold??

Hi all,
any help identifying this and possible remedies would be appreciated. The "hairs" are about 1cm (2/5 of an inch) long. So far, only on one limb of one plant.
It is outside, well ventilated and in a half-sun position.
I have cut the offending branch off the plant

i do believe those are sporus and you are right, but i also think i remeber someone saying it isn't bad.. but i could be wrong!

its not mold, its insect eggs, some flying creature has taken a liking to your chilli plant.

What exactly do we see on the pic? Did you scratch that off or......??? Looks like white flies to me, but it's hard to tell by looking at that pic.

Certainly doesn't look like mould to me!

Nope, that would be lace wign eggs. They like aphids btw.

I had the same on a Poblano pepper a few years ago and didn't know what it was until identified as lacewing. Thanks IGG.
