:woohoo: chess piece crossed the board and landed in the Methow!

From halfway around the world, Dr. Scoville's box made it to the Methow in almost perfect condition. All sorts of goodies from the Netherlands and a nicely detailed description of each and how to use.

Twine tied with themed stickers

More stickers and a nice note

The Reveal!!!

What a great assortment, perfectly packaged, I am grateful for your attention in your choices and I am looking forward to trying everything.

I already tried the Goudeliers. Tastes like a soft, slightly chewy graham cracker. Yum! Salsadude will be hitting those. And a licorice piece. Gotta be careful of the dental work with those!

Thank you, Dr Scoville!!!

Dr Scoville, when you posted the update from Bell Garden, CA, it threw me off. Figured it was going to someone in California. Well played!
yeah it took quite the detour. Amsterdam- Los Angeles - Bell Garden - and a bunch of other places before delivery. I'm so glad it arrived in one peace without custom opening the box and messing things up. I'm thrilled you like all i got for you. @Boss i've had a bunch of fun tracking and hoping for a speedy delivery. And what i got my self😍

Well, today when I got home from work I found an old man with a horse and cart in my driveway. The cart had "Methow Postal Service" in faint, well worn writing on the side. I asked if I could be of assistance, he then asked me if I knew what a ShoErider was?

Where do I start.......🤯........ Bloody hell SL, not only was I blown away with your first package (yes, you read that correctly), your SECOND package tipped it over the top!

Here's the entirety of the two packages.
1000054214.jpg

Hot & Regular Wasabi Mustards.
1000054225.jpg

Jalapeno blueberry jam, Hot blueberry jam, & Candied Jalapenos.
1000054224.jpg

Texas Creek Ghost Fire hot sauce (I've had this before and absolutely loved it), and Funky's Wild Child hot sauce.
1000054223.jpg

Hot seasoning salt (with 7 Pots), Jalapeno seasoning salt, & Nashville Hot Chicken blend spice.
1000054222.jpg

Wouldn't be a package from SL without some Texas Creek eye drops 🤣
1000054221.jpg

Fatalii & Jalapeno pickled pepper medley
1000054231.jpg

It wouldn't be Helloween without some lollies (candy), eating the Gonzo candy corn as I type.....yuuuum.
1000054218.jpg

TRUFF - Black Truffle infused hot sauce. Presented so well it could pose as a pepperhead cologne.
1000054217.jpg

And, if that wasn't enough, she also included a Glass works hand blown chilli/Jalapeno

Tonight's dinner, Lamb chop, fried eggs seasoned with Jalapeno seasoning salt (sure it wasn't 7 Pot seasoning salt SL? 🤔) chips/fries, and a side of Jalapeno pickled pepper medley. All were delicious.

I can't thank you enough SL, you have gone above and beyond, and for that I am truly grateful.

THANK YOU!

My Pleasure, Shorerider!

Wow! Norm (our postman) and Herbert his horse made good time, and everything arrived intact. I was worried about that, hence the extra packaging and 2 boxes.

Most of the items not made by Texas Creek are from Washington companies. Except the Truffle Hot Sauce, which I thought looked really cool. Did you notice the paper used for the glass chilli packing was from the Methow Valley News? And the candy corn isn't NW but is a halloween must. It is one of those things, people love them or hate them. I personally like them. Didn't know if you have them in Oz.

And I might of accidently mixed up some numbers, but I figure you'll have fun trying everything and figuring out what is Hot and what is Not.

Cheers, Mate!

edit- the blueberry jam didn't set up properly, it's more of a syrup.

The packaging was superb, it's almost like you were planning for a 7 month shipping journey 😁

I did notice the relevance of the newspaper, it was a nice touch. I enjoyed the candy corn which we don't have here, but they are all gone now, lol.

You "accidentally" mixed up some numbers? I should have known something was up after sneezing four times once I put the "Jalapeno" seasoning salt on my eggs. 🤣

Thanks again, I'll slowly get through all the goodies and will have fun figuring out what other numbers you "accidentally" got mixed up.

You found the TRICK! 😂
I think the trick was SL's "accident" mixing up some numbers. Kinda like a Good and Evil Noah's Ark.....
I can confirm that the package has now been delivered.
