keep topping, or just once?

having some trouble with stunted plants, had another thread open about it, due to clay soil, packed in etc.
 
anywho i topped some plants and am getting some growth from them, but should i keep topping them as they grow? or just top them once and let it ride?

I think you're looking great. Just give her time. Its still very early in the season. They are outside, so the need to prune isn't as important as being under artificial lighting.
