Keeping damaged superhots

I stopped a catipillar from chewing my yellow 7pod right at the beginning. It was still green at the time. Now it's all nice and yellow but a hole formed. I cut the pod in half and saw no insects and it looked fresh. Should I just keep it or throw it away?

Dry it out for powder or pickle it. I wouldnt trust it raw. Only my opinion!

i usually freeze those but what the other guys said is good as well.they are the experts!!

yea i found a caterpillar eating a hole in a jalapeno once, i just cut out the bit with the hole and ate it.

did it look like this?

i just had to cut a hot lemon pod in half. looks like something nailed it and right in the centre it had a hole and started to go soft. i just cut out around the hole, saved the seeds and ate one half, tossed the other in the freezer.
