I see a lot of questions about pepper growing from beginners such as myself and I wanted to share this link to Khang Starr and his Youtube channel with everyone: https://www.youtube.com/user/KhangStarr010
 
Although it's my fourth year growing, I've picked up a lot of good tips from Khang's detailed tutorials on growing, crossing, and kratky hydroponics and you should definitely check them out if you're looking for instructions that are easy and clear to understand.  In my opinion it is the best Youtube resource for beginner pepper growers.
