How early in the year was this pod started? It could have a big say in what it looks like if it was a month or so ago. What are temps like?

This was the plant the pods in my avitar pic  came from. I took it out of ground last year and decided to leave in pot this year. This pod just looks bigger and very different than last year.
Temps are starting to warm into the 90's,thinking about moving all plants under the oak trees...

Early season pods can sometimes not come out looking true.  Wait for the next flush of pods before making a determination.
