harvesting Late season blossoms. Opinions?

Here we are about 3 ish weeks (emphasis on “ish”) before 1st average frost (north Alabama). I have a few plants that have many peppers (not many ripe), and even more blossoms (why yes….yes I did start late). Who would remove them to try and get more ripe pods? Inquiring minds want to know…..

I actually start pulling buds- blooms in mid-Sept as I know they will never even reach full size never mind ripe.
