It's almost Halloween, and I wanted to do something fun - it's been too long since I've done a giveaway here, so let's do this!
For Halloween I am giving away a 4-pack of hot sauce - 2 bottles of Orange Label and of course, 2 bottles of Black Label!
Here's your challenge: I love Haiku, so you need to write a Lucky Dog Haiku with a Halloween theme. Simple enough eh?
These can be spooky, funny, deep, thoughtful or "other" - but they must be in the standard, traditional 5-7-5 Haiku format - none of that "new school" Haiku crap here folks.
Important:
Please submit the Haiku to me via email to luckydoghotsauce@gmail.com no later than October 29th, 2013 - and be sure to include your THP user name with the mail. Fear not, your email address will not be added to any mailing list because I don't do mailing lists.
From the entries, I will personally select what I consider to be the "top 5" Haikus. What makes a top 5 Haiku entry? I guess we'll find out soon enough.
From there I will post the top 5 entries to a new topic on this forum on October 30th, with a poll for voting. That way no one knows who's Haiku they are voting on, as it will be "blinded" voting.
How to win: Top voted Haiku gets the 4-pack.
Please note: You may vote for your own entry, however any solicitation of votes by any contestant will result in a disqualification for that entry.
