leaf surface temp tests

Got my new ir thermometer today, and started my testing of leaf surface temperatures at differing humidity and temp levels. Its hard to test at a range of temperatures right now, when I can't seem to get my temps consistently above 75f, so I'm testing at 73f at the plant till I get a bigger heat source.

At 73f and 50% humidity, I had 68.5-69f lst's on all four plants. Two large Thai hybrids, and two habaneros.

Waiting for humidity to stabilize at 60% for a while before testing again, then at some point I'll be testing at consistant humidities at different times throughout the day.

I decided to keep the humidity at the average 52% range. The habs are staying around -4 compared to the Thai's have increased a bit, about the time their leaves started drooping they went up to about -1.8f. Apparently they gradually get light stressed after 12 hours of light.

Most recent measurements have the thai's at -1.2 on average, and then leaves that are drooping are actually cooler by half a degree. Possibly because they aren't getting direct light.

Anybody else have an it thermometer to test temps with? It'd be interesting to get some data at other temp/humidity ranges, and the effects they have on the plants.
