Leafy Little Plant! :)

So I visited a nursery a few days ago and decided to pick up a plant, just for the fun of it.

It's a "Super Chilli Hybrid" plant.

Doing a bit of research, it claims the plant can produce up to 300 peppers with a 30,000-50,000 SHU rating. Not all that hot, but good for everyday cooking I suppose.

Comes from these seeds:

Leafy little guy! Not bad for $3.

Superchile's are awesome. I bought a plant 2 seasons ago and am now growing its grandchildren from seeds. Are you putting it in the ground, or a bigger container? The scoville claims are correct. Not sure about 300 pods, but they are big producers.

Thanks for the confirmation on its heat.

I'm thinking about putting it out in a few weeks. Its still a bit too cool up here.

And yeah, I'll post more pics once pods start to grow.

A good productive plant.
Similar in taste with a Tabsco(imo).
Maybe a little hotter, a matter of opinion...
Good for Powder.
Nice looker but nothing special to write home about in general.

Nothing especially outstanding about it to set them apart except to for looks and productivity.
Good for a nursey supplied plant .

I easily got 300 pods growing the plant in a 3 gallon pot. I grew it 4 years ago and still have dried pods. Makes a good flake for sprinkling on pizza, pasta etc.
