howdy all, i got a couple questions inregards to lighting.

when growing peppers indoors under HID lights, how long should the lights be left on(12, 18, 24 hrs)?

what is the max PPM you want to feed peppers?


what signals peppers to start the fruiting and flowering process. is it age, height, or photo period induced?

1 I do 16 hrs.

2 400-600 ppm

3 chiles are day-neutral, ie, fruiting is not affected by photoperiod.
 
thanks! i have them under 24 hours of T5 flourescents currently.

why such low ppm's? i thought hot peppers liked strong nutrients?
