Lime question

I am going to make my own pro-mix. I have pelletized dolomitic lime. Should I crush some to
make it finer (with a mask of course).
I also have horticultural hydrated lime (Hi-Yield), would this be calcitic lime?
I have peat moss and fine vermiculite.
