I communicated with Hombre. This is what Alexander wrote,
Hey Nigel saw your post at THP. It is really hard to get hands on varieties from the USDA. I had mine from JohnT and GuyH back in 2008 and that was really old seeds from a time when it was easier to order there. I am allways keeping my eyes open to get some of those, but in the last 5 years I only managed to get some ones directly from them and then only 1 variety. And not so many people are really interested in growing Pubescens, that is why it is hard too find sepcialis like those.

And for the Pepperproblem C.pubescens I also posted about,
The Problem is that many pubescens are not tha homogeneous like other Capsicum. One of my wild guesses is a PI 387838 Hybrid. Had allmost 50 diffrent ones in 2009 or there is a small Canario out there, too .I do not believe you will find anyboady that can give you a real name for it. Just because in pubescens there are not many names around for special varieties the most is just made up. The CAP 867 Orange that semilas sells has once in a while bigger pods, but most of the time they are smaller.
