wanted Looking for large-fruited White Habanero seeds

Ciao all-

After a few years of growing White Bullet Habaneros, Duane would really like to grow a larger-fruited one primarily for drying and making powders. If any of you have a strain of White Habanero that gets to "regular" habanero size, between 1.5-2", I'd be very interested in trading with you. I've got a sizable tomato collection and Duane's got more than a modest collection of pepper varieties to choose from.

Let me know.

I alos am searching for something like this. closest i have is the white devil's tongue but i only have a few seeds till i grow it out though :( good luck with your search! I would like to do a trade for some of your basil if possible.

I'm getting some more seeds from Italy for the giant white "hab". I grew the last batch for several years with only very little success. The new seeds are said to have been improved:)

POTAWIE, if it is a commercial site, would you mind sharing it? I might be interested in ordering some as well.

If not a commercial site, ummm, errr, .... nevermind then.

I have no good pics, but like most white chinenses they are usually a bit yellow
No not a commercial site, just a friend

White devils tongue is an F1 hybrid or so it was yoyr seeds are now F2 good chance it won't turn out anything like you want it but who knows

if ti is anything like the pods they came from i will be happy!

See thats the thing the pods continue changing for 3 years even more, It usually takes 3-4 years to stabalize a strain and by that time it usually doesn't look like F1

Thank you for info kyle.
I'm pretty optimistic. I sure hope i can stabilize this. I am all ears

Yep not a problem. I don't mean to be pessimistic just being real with you. You can definitely but because of genetics (recessive and dominant traits) your stabilized strain could look a lot different then megamasters. For example a friend of mine crossed Guadeloupe habanero with Caribbean red habanero (I think but i know it was with another habanero) now it is stabilized and produces pods about 5 inches long and they are more slender and don't resemble a hab to much. My best advice to you is plant more then one plant because of the crazy traits. Save your F1 seeds F2 and so on. That way if they didn't look the way you were hoping you can try again and pray for a different outcome. Im going try to working on stabilizing my own pepper too but im still undecided on what the cross will be with. Sorry for thread jacking sorrelina is still looking for large fruited white hab, Im just trying to help out nate! Good luck man!

EDIT:If you need anymore help or have ?'s pm me.
