This is not a casting call, well sort of...I'm researching for a new TV show pilot on Cooking Channel. This is a new companion network for Food Network. We're looking for intense, fiery food served up at restaurants, street carts, specialty shops etc. found all over the lower 48 states. We're not just talking hot sauce here, we're talking signature dishes that only the truly brave will tackle. We definitely want the infamously spicy, "not-for-the-faint-of-heart" dishes, but also those underground places you don't talk about at parties. Also, any foods that are unusual for adding extreme heat like desserts/sweets, breakfast foods, beverages--we're all ears! Also, we're well aware of the Travel Channel show that showcases food challenges, so we're looking for new establishments.
