Not a pepper- also known as sour/bitter orange, Citrus aurantium (the Rutaceae familly)

Also lookin for a good lime.

I just gave away my Lime tree.Key Lime.
I grew it from seeds from Villarta Market.
The web said 2 yrs until fruiting from seeds.
It fruited at the end of 1 yr.
Lime seeds have several embyos and I didn't know it at the time.
Planted 4 or 5 seeds and got 15 or 20 plants comming up.
Don't know about your oranges.
My lime tree just got too big for the 20 gal. bucket in 3 or 4 yrs.
Fruited practicaly year round.
I can get some seeds for you from Villarta if you can't find Key Limes.
These are from mexico.Really juicey.
They have the big limes too but they don't have much juice...

I get these there too.

I may be able to help you out in a few weeks. Seville oranges are often found here in Spain on tree lined streets, the problem is that they won't be ripe for a few weeks yet. Send me a PM in a few weeks when I can go out and collect some ripe seeds for you.

Right on Smokemaster- I love my Mexi markets too! On the lime offer, I think you know what I was thinkin'- hard to find a juicey lime. A consistantly juicey one anyway. Nice Manzanos and stuff too. Those peach ones look real nice. You got better pickin's up there manzano wise, I only see oranges here now and then where I go. Maybe I have to look elsewhere round here.

And sounds good Biscombe- I'll send a pm your way in a while if I still can't track any Sevilles down here. I appreciate it and'll make it worth your while!

I have a Salvadorian market and 4 small Mexican markets within 1/2 mile from my place and then Villarta Market is 3 blocks up the street.
At Villarta they have a scanner that scans your wallet when you go in and if you go in with a lot of money the manzanos go up to almost $10.0 lb.
If your almost broke they are $3.00-$5.00 lb.
To fix the problem of having to change prices when I go in they talked Chase into opening up a branch 50 ft. from the market so I can always hit up the ready teller for cash.
Thus I was forced to get 40 lbs. of $.59 lb. chicken quarters , 3 lbs. of manzanos and 1 lb. of habaneros in the last week or so.

My smokers will be happy.
30 lbs. yellowtail , 15 lbs. of boneless pork country style ribs and then the chicken.
Not to mention all the pods in the freezer that need smoke drying too so I can make some powders and rubs up for the dead animals listed above.

Should I save you some lime seeds?
I get limes all the time.

I would think that they would be the same juicey ones as usual since I think they always use the same supplier.
The net bags always have the same co. logo on them.
Limes should be the same I'd think unless they just have a buyer go to mexico and buy from anyone who is cheeper which I doubt, and bag them up here in the U.S..
I'd think their limes come from the same orchards all the time.

Thanks Smokemaster, but I'll hit up my Mexi market down the way for some limes/seeds if I don't find any good ones at the good nursery this weekend.

What do you do with 30 lbs of smoked yt? Big party or somethin? Do you freeze it?
