I've got a Faria (Tobago Scotch Bonnet) growing too... no pods yet, but if I get some, the first few will be seeded and I'll hook ya up. I know it doesn't help at the moment, but if ya don't come up with some prior, I'll be around...
 
Thanks Papa Bill, pretty sure Faria is not a Bonnet type pepper, but Tobago Scotch Bonnet is a variety I do not have, so I'm definitely interested in working out a trade!

Since I got the plant from scoville, I'm assuming it was descended from the one he mentions in that post. Also have found it listed as Faria (Tobago Scotch Bonnet) at a few other places.

The one thing that doesn't seem consistent is the heat. One place said it was hot, another said it was more mild... guess I just need ta get it to spit a few pods out so I can tell... LOL
 
From what I've been reading, and according to the link I shared, true Faria is a superhot.

I'm definitely interested in trading with the rest of you that posted as well, hit up my glist, and pm me with what you are interested in...

Its possible PapaBill that since it is a landrace - IE unstable - that it has variants out there.
 
I see what you are saying though - Pepperlover has them listed as Faria as well - and so does a few other sites. I'll have to ask Smokemaster about them...

CARDI says they are a superhot?
 
Yea, I'm not seeing any buds on mine yet, so it will be a bit before I have anything to taste on it... Plant looks to be doing well though, so hopefully I've have something this season at least...
