Anyone have any luck germinating Macara Rocoto seeds? I have been trying for a month now and they just won't pop.

Will be trying to germ some rocotos soon. But I've been having seeds pop after being in soil for a little over 2 months, around 4 or 5 Â different varieties. It's nuts
The rocotos and manzanos I grew last year took the longest to germinate by far. Â A couple popped like 25-35 days after I had sown them - so long that I'd planned other stuff. Â Keep the faith. Â 
My turbo pubes did the same thing. I am just going to keep at it until I run out of seeds. loljuanitos said:

3 of the 4 rocoto seeds that I planted popped up quite quickly (and then were promptly eaten by my cat 
). I'm still waiting on #4 to germinate but have also had a number of seeds that I gave up on and planted a couple months ago suddenly decide to grow so I have faith in that lonely rocoto.
