Malformed Bih-Jolokia pods.

At long last my Bih is setting fruit.
 
The pods are still small, but I noticed that one was suffering some manner of rot:
 

 
Inside, more of the same.  No bugs sighted, but they may have already left the scene of the crime.
 

 
 
Apart from the one above, most of the pods look fine:
 

 
But a few share the 'shriveled' look with the first.
 

 
Is this something to worry about? And if so, what remedy would you guys recommend?
