Manure Tea Question

Well, I have a horse and have a collection of manure to last a lifetime. The wife and I make manure tea for our garden all the time but I have never used on plants in pots. So, my question is, if I make up a weak version of manure tea, could I bottom water with this solution or would that more than likely burn/kill my roots? Would it be better to just give a quick shot on the top and just bottom water with normal nutrients or should I just leave the manure tea for matured adult plants?

you say manure tea..

i would ask method

and what is the pH of your "mix"?

you may want to be sure you do not use too strong of acid.

Depending on how strong you are making it, I would gently pour it over the entire plant so that you foliar feed as well as soil feed. I do it that way with my compost Tea and have great results. Foliar feeding is a lot more efficient than soil feeding. I would just start with a small amount and work up depending on how your plants respond.
